It is Remembrance Day this Sunday (9th) in the village. There will be a service at the War Memorial, which will start around 10.45 and there will be a 2 minute silence at 11 o’clock.
It is also the Stebbing Remembrance 10 Mile Race on the same day. The race is famous locally and attracts a field of around 500 runners from all over the county. The race starts in the High Street after the 2 minute silence is completed and finishes at the School. The faster runners will finish in just under an hour. So please give them your support.

Appeal Dismissed - APP/C1570/W/25/3362146 - Land West Of High Street, Stebbing - UTT/23/2496/FUL
The appeal against the decision in September 2024 by Uttlesford District Council to refuse the proposed development on the fields / land West of the High Street, opposite the School and on The Downs has today been dismissed. This is the second time that proposed development on these fields has been refused / upheld by the Planning Inspectorate.
