We have documented a series of walks around the Stebbing area. All the routes listed here are suitable for walking or running, they are taken from OS maps  and are intended to help and encourage people to get out and exploring our countryside. Routes within the Parish are surveyed each year and all routes will have been walked recently. Wherever possible main roads have been avoided but please do take care even on some of our smaller lanes.

All walks are aimed at walkers, however, most would be suitable for runners, although could get muddy in Winter. The Dunmow Church End and the Lindsell routes are both good 10k runs.

Stebbing Parish Council (SPC) have created a new natural walk at the lower end of Mill Lane playing field called the Kingdom Woodland Walk. It is an area of woodland that the parish council owns that has laid dormant for many a year. We have named it in memory of Michael Kingdom. Please click here for more information or watch this video stebbing-pc.gov.uk/woodlandwalk.mp4
