The referendum to approve or reject the Stebbing Neighbourhood Plan took place on Thursday 23rd June 2022.

We are pleased to announce the result was a majority supporting the neighbourhood plan with 534 (97%) votes to approve the plan and 17 (3%) votes against. With a turnout of 48%.

This is a resounding endorsement of the plan of 97%. The turnout of 48% was also very high. Typically local plan referendums have turnouts of below 40%, as an example the recent Felsted Neighbourhood Plan referendum had a turnout of 32%.
