The Autumn Litter Pick was organised by the Stebbing Parish Council and was completed on 16th November. 30 volunteers from the village helped.

We concentrated on three broad areas

1) The area from the Church to Stebbing Green and from the Airfield down to Stane Street.

2) The centre of the village, namely: Mill Lane, Mill Lane field; Crooked Mile, Church End; Watch House Road; Lubberhedges Lane and the footpaths at the bottom of Mill Lane and from Mill Lane field to the Downs.

3) Bran End including: Pulford playing field; Bran End Fields; Brookfields; Marshalls Piece; Garden Fields; Ploughman’s Reach; The Downs; Brick Kiln Lane; FP15 (bridleway to New Barns/Lubberhedges) and Clay Lane.

In total we collected 40 bags of rubbish, a car wheel and associated car parts, a 42” TV and a microwave. This was a huge effort by the volunteers and the Parish Council would like to thank everyone who gave up their time and participated. Well done! The waste will be collected by Uttlesford District Council in the next few days.
